Mary Mary is delighted to announce a collaboration with London based, Claire de Rouen on a pop-up book store to be held in the gallery over two weeks.

For this project at Mary Mary, Claire de Rouen has curated a selection of artist books which will be presented alongside artist selected publications that have influenced and are important to them, with contributions from Amanda Ross- Ho, Alex Olson, Jonathan Gardner and Milano Chow amongst many others, ranging from artist books to architecture to literature. These will all be presented in a bespoke display throughout the gallery space. Books will be available to purchase.

Alongside the various publications, there will also be a small presentations of art works by Jesse Wine, Sara Barker, Lorna Macintyre amongst others.

On Thursday 13th April the gallery and Claire de Rouen will host an event to launch Alan Reid’s new monograph, ‘Warm Equations.’ Taking the paintings of Alan Reid as a cypher, this book shifts emphasis from his work to multiple contributors, who have offered writings and poems which are interleaved with images of Reid’s work. Edited by independent curator, Rachel Valinsky, contributors include Matthew Brannon, Jill Gasparina, Ella Kruglyanskaya and Chris Sharp.
